A Welcoming Front Door

Before the Holiday Season is over for 2017 I wanted to post a few pictures.  We had a very quiet Christmas Eve and Day!  It was peaceful and relaxing.  Got walks in and hot tub time with music and candles and a slivered moon.  It snowed off and on and at one point the sun was shining while big huge flakes were coming down.  We reflected on our blessings and prayed for continued blessing on our whole family.  We also prayed that our eyes would be open even wider to the many blessings we take for granted.  Yeah, we all face hard times but putting God in the middle of each one can only help give hope where there is no hope, and watching for the blessings in the trial gives it purpose for our good!

The following are pictures I have taken recently!  I hope you enjoy them.

As we head into the New Year 2018 I pray that it will be a wonderful year for us all.  Peace, joy, patience, goodness….  Hey, I guess I am speaking the Fruit of the Spirit into our lives!  Yes and Amen!!!!

I also found new growth on the pine trees and some baby currents.  These speak of things to come and made me glad.

Pining For You!

Standard

It has been one of those quiet Christmas seasons!  Only one of our kids is around for the holidays and she lives in Cascade year round BUT we are very thankful that she and Choochie have spent lots of time with us.  The other two will be here for Winter Carnival so it will not be long before our home will be overflowing with laughter but for right now we are missing those people and all the grands that come with them!  Family… gratitude… just go hand in hand.

I found some fabulous icicles in nature today and some wonderful pine tree shots.  There is also a couple of the neighborhood crane that resides in our area all winter.  As we get nearer to the beginning of a new year we think about the past year and count our blessings and we turn our hearts towards the new year and thank God that He will make way for more blessings if we allow Him to move in our lives.  One resolution I will have is to smile bravely even as I grit my teeth (Hublet-that’s for you!)! And I am going to strive to have less self-pity and more ruthless trust.  (I will talk more about that at a  later date!)

Hoping the “Best-Ever” in 2015 for Each One of You!
