Moon Over the Mountain

Full Moon Setting

The moon was wonderful this morning and I was able to capture it somewhat with my camera.

It has been a busy time around here.  Our daughter and her daughter have moved to Boise and I have been helping her get that accomplished.  She was blessed with so much help from so many to get this move done.  She started the journey of college two weeks ago and is very excited about it. She has had so many God-opened doors and it is incredible the amount of work she has had to do to make this happen.  We are very proud of her and will pray that she will see her dreams come true!!!

Got home last night around 7:30 and walked into a home filled with the smell of granola baking, the toasty fire was crackling, two darling doggies with wagging tails to greet me and a hubby that had baked granola and made a chicken and rice casserole.  It doesn’t get much better than that!

Hubster is still recuperating from his knee replacement  It is a long road but well worth it.    My back is out, I am worn out and have a dirty house but “this too shall pass” and I am finding it easy to be grateful for many blessings…  one of which was this beautiful moonscape!

The Path…

Happy New Year 2016!

It’s hard to believe that it is here!  Hublet recieved  a new left knee on Tuesday to go with his right knee that was replaced a few years ago. We are grateful to have the surgery behind us and now are praying for a speedy recovery!

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday and after everyone left I took a picture of the path that was carved in the deep snow between the Depot and our home.  Remembering all the trips that were taken on that path I felt sad that it would not be used to skip merrily along to join all the loved ones and I just had to take a picture for a keepsake!

Life is filled with paths!  May 2016 be a year of paths well chosen!
