A Room with a View

Standard

So …  as I sit here, home bound after another surgery…  I find myself so grateful for my view.  I am one of those who keeps the old Christmas tree up till the middle of January.  I would like to keep it up even longer but it starts to become a fire hazard and must go – but break my heart – it does, when I have to take it down.  This has been the view on my left as I have spent much time on the couch this week and it has been a blessing to me.

I am also enjoying my orchids that have chosen this time to rebloom and THAT is always a blessing.

I would encourage you all to head over to Ann Voskamp’s blog from yesterday, Jan 6th, 2015, her post was excellent as always but especially fitting for New Years!

I am finding that being grateful makes what you have more than enough!!!! I am grateful for my husband of 41 years, my grown children and their spouses, my eight grandchildren, all the great people who bless my life, and for the undeserved redemption that is mine in Jesus! Hubster and I live in a small mountain village in the heart of Idaho and are so grateful for the beauty that surrounds us. Oh! I am grateful for my two doggies too!!!
