Pining For You!

Standard

It has been one of those quiet Christmas seasons!  Only one of our kids is around for the holidays and she lives in Cascade year round BUT we are very thankful that she and Choochie have spent lots of time with us.  The other two will be here for Winter Carnival so it will not be long before our home will be overflowing with laughter but for right now we are missing those people and all the grands that come with them!  Family… gratitude… just go hand in hand.

I found some fabulous icicles in nature today and some wonderful pine tree shots.  There is also a couple of the neighborhood crane that resides in our area all winter.  As we get nearer to the beginning of a new year we think about the past year and count our blessings and we turn our hearts towards the new year and thank God that He will make way for more blessings if we allow Him to move in our lives.  One resolution I will have is to smile bravely even as I grit my teeth (Hublet-that’s for you!)! And I am going to strive to have less self-pity and more ruthless trust.  (I will talk more about that at a  later date!)

Hoping the “Best-Ever” in 2015 for Each One of You!

About cascadecountry

I am finding that being grateful makes what you have more than enough!!!! I am grateful for my husband of 41 years, my grown children and their spouses, my eight grandchildren, all the great people who bless my life, and for the undeserved redemption that is mine in Jesus! Hubster and I live in a small mountain village in the heart of Idaho and are so grateful for the beauty that surrounds us. Oh! I am grateful for my two doggies too!!!
